IDA Ireland today announced that Millennium Management, a global alternative investment management firm, has opened a new office at Central Quay in Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 2 with plans to expand their local headcount. Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Simon Coveney joined the staff and senior leadership of Millennium to celebrate the official opening of their new office in Dublin.
Founded in 1989, Millennium seeks to pursue a diverse array of investment strategies across asset classes and geographies. Alternative investment managers, like Millennium, represent one of the most fast moving and complex segments of investing and employ sophisticated technology to help unearth new opportunities in global markets.
Millennium is currently hiring finance and technology talent in Dublin with experience in: cloud engineering, security engineering, infrastructure technology, corporate technology, vendor management & procurement, accounting services and fund accounting. Link to careers webpage
Millennium first started operating in Dublin in 2018 with an office in St Stephen’s Green and is now relocating to Central Quay. The new office will have seats for over 100 employees, more than double the current headcount. The Dublin office adds to Millennium’s capabilities in leading technology and finance centres globally.
