Office of the Secretary General

The role of the Secretary General's Office is to provide an efficient secretariat to the Secretary General and the Management Board; to ensure a proper interface between the office and:

  • the departments and Offices of the Minister and Ministers of State
  • other government departments
  • the public

Our Work

The office is the co-ordination point in the department for parliamentary questions, other matters of Oireachtas business which may require a departmental response and some general departmental enquiries.
