Office of the Secretary General

The role of the Secretary General's Office is to provide an efficient secretariat to the Secretary General and the Management Board; to ensure a proper interface between the Office and:

  • the Departments and Offices of the Minister and Ministers of State
  • other Government Departments
  • the public

Our Work

The Office is the co-ordination point in the Department for parliamentary questions, other matters of Oireachtas business which may require a Departmental response and some general Departmental enquiries.
