General information on the Employment Permit System is provided by the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) on behalf of the Employment Permits Section. The WRC can also provide limited information on the status of a current EP application. More detailed requests for information on an EP application should be emailed directly to the Employment Permits Section.

Department of Social Protection Employment Services
To register a job vacancy with the Department of Social Protection Employment Services, employers should log onto Department of Social Protection Employment Services at jobsireland.ie or welfare.ie and select the employer option for the online service. Alternatively, employers can contact the National Contact Centre at Freephone 1800 611 116 or telephone 046 9738000 to register their vacancy by phone. All Irish-based vacancies advertised on the Department of Social Protection Jobs Ireland Service will automatically be advertised on the EURES website and the vacancy the employer/contractor has registered will be given a reference number.
