What We Do

Future Manufacturing Ireland

The aim of Future Manufacturing Ireland is to provide clarity for all stakeholders involved in manufacturing activities to access appropriate technology and research expertise, business and advisory services and funding supports.

Future Manufacturing Ireland was set up to ensure a coherent and cohesive national research support structure for Advanced Manufacturing. It is one of the priority actions of the National Industry 4.0 Strategy (2020-2025) as well as commitments under Project Ireland 2040 and Future Jobs 2019.

Future Manufacturing Ireland will provide clarity for all stakeholders involved in manufacturing activities to access appropriate technology and research expertise, business and advisory services and funding supports. This includes domestic and international industry and the national ecosystem of R&D Centres involved in Advanced Manufacturing. Activities involve extensive interaction with the Agencies managing the network of centres and support infrastructure for Advanced Manufacturing; Science Foundation Ireland, Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland as well as close collaboration with the relevant centres and research providing organisations.
