What We Do

Market Access

Access2Markets

Access2Markets is an online portal on export, import and intra-EU trade. It provides exporters with the information they need when trading with third countries, such as on tariffs, taxes, procedures, formalities and requirements, rules of origin, export measures, statistics, trade barriers and more. It also provides key information needed for trade in services along with investment and procurement information for third countries. The portal includes detailed information on EU trade agreements, how to benefit from them and real-world examples of exporters successfully using them. It breaks down the legal language into practical information that's easy to access.

Access2Markets is there to help you and your business for import and export, providing information on tariffs, internal taxes in specific markets, RoO and ROSA (Rules of Origin Self-Assessment), customs procedures and specific product requirements, trade barriers and trade flows.

Market Access Days

Market Access Days are events organised by member states’ national authorities and the European Commission. They include chambers of commerce, employers’ associations, investment and trade development agencies, exporters' organisations and other national and sectoral business organisations. The aim is to engage with stakeholders and businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises and provide a platform to network with policy makers and agencies.

The events include a keynote speech by the DDG of DG TRADE/Chief Trade Enforcement Officer, the promotion of EU trade policy, its implementation and enforcement, and presentations on practical tools and resources that help businesses navigate international trade and address barriers, such as the Access2Markets portal and Single-Entry Point.
