The guiding principle of the Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation (SSTI) is that excellence in research and increased innovation in the enterprise sector can help accelerate Ireland’s economic restructuring and help us to get back on the path of sustainable growth.
This report provides data on key indicators for monitoring progress on Ireland’s investment in science, technology and innovation and the quantifiable returns on that investment to date.
An overview of the range of activities being undertaken by government departments and state agencies charged with delivering on implementation of the Strategy is also included.
