Strategy for Science,Technology and Innovation 2006 - 2013

The development of the knowledge economy is one of the key challenges and opportunities facing Ireland. Science, Technology and Innovation in Ireland is still relatively underdeveloped.

We now need to take a leap forward and move Ireland to an acknowledged leader in this field. This strategy is based on a shared vision of placing Ireland firmly on the global map in terms of the excellence of our research and its application for the benefit of society.
