Research and Analysis
Science and technology provides the foundations for new methods of production, new ways of delivering essential social services, new methods of work and it is at the heart of the communications revolution. If we, as a country, neglect these essential foundations we set aside the means by which innovative solutions can be applied to our economic and social problems.
To do this would be to fly in the face of what is happening right across the developed world in those countries against which we compete in the production and sale of goods and services at the present time. If we neglect the insights and practical solutions which Science, Technology and Innovation can bring to our development policies we do so at great peril to our future social and economic prospects.
