Science Foundation Ireland The First Years 2001 - 2005

The Science Foundation Ireland evaluation report contains the findings and recommendations of a panel of six leading international scientists and engineers chaired by Professor Sir Richard Brook, Director of The Leverhulme Trust in London.

The panel found that SFI has been a most positive driving force for change in the Irish research system and recommended that the government should continue to take a long-term, strategic view of funding for research in Ireland.
