Regulatory Impact Assessment - Proposed Ratification of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between the EU, its Member States and Canada (CETA)

The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment has conducted a Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) of the ratification of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between the EU and Canada, commonly known as CETA. The Analysis assesses three options for the Irish Government in considering CETA: i. Ratification of CETA; ii. Continued provisional application of CETA; iii. Rejection of CETA.
