The Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment (DETE) has published its Gender Pay Gap Report for 2025.
The report indicates that DETE’s gender pay gap in 2025 is 8.35%, in favour of male employees. This report covers employee data as of the snapshot date for reporting of 20 June 2025.
DETE has a total of 974 employees, 59% female and 41% male. The percentage of female employees within the upper and upper middle remuneration quartiles is 47% in 2025.
Actions that have been taken and will continue to be prioritised to address this pay gap include enhancing learning and career development opportunities, ensuring fairness and transparency in promotion practices, and strengthening our approach to equality, diversity and inclusion.
