Reports, Research and Analysis
This Forfás published report presents the results of the Technopolis study on the absorptive capacity of Irish SMEs. It examines the key activities which foster or constrain the capabilities of firms to optimise their use of technology, with a particular emphasis on the Irish context.
It assesses the mechanisms, both internal and external which facilitate technology absorption into companies, identifies the strengths and weaknesses of these mechanisms and in its conclusions suggest how these can be strengthened.
