Ireland's Co-operative Sector

This report has been prepared at the request of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment as a key input to the Department’s review of the legislative and organisational framework for co-operatives in Ireland.

The report sets out an economic and social profile of the co-operative sector in Ireland, provides an overview of the co-operative sector internationally and outlines some of the key issues in terms of challenges and opportunities currently facing the Irish co-operative sector.
