The Minister for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation Dara Calleary TD is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals to serve as additional voluntary members of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Advisory Council for the remaining duration of its current term (2024-2025).
There are currently two vacancies on the Council. Expressions are sought by Monday, 30 September 2024 from individuals with relevant skills and experience in the areas of:
- Economics of AI or
- AI engineering experience in the startup/SME/indigenous enterprise sector
The Council’s role is to provide independent expert advice to government on artificial intelligence policy, with a specific focus on building public trust and promoting the development of trustworthy, person-centred AI.
