This week (Tuesday 17th July 2018) Pat Breen, Minister of State for Trade, Employment, Business, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection in Ireland, visited Deloitte Digital in London to discuss the firm’s collaboration with Enterprise Ireland to support Irish digital start-ups. The group also discussed the type of skills and education that should be cultivated now to support future entrepreneurs and start-up activity in Ireland.
During the visit, the Minister heard about the work Deloitte Digital and Enterprise Ireland are undertaking with Irish start-ups and the plans the firms have to engage with more businesses over the next 6-12 months. Minister Breen was also shown Diversify Your Feed, a new plugin from Deloitte Digital and Acne London which measures the diversity of your Twitter following, as well as new innovations in sensing technology and 3D printing.
Deborah Dunne, Director at Deloitte Digital, said: “It was a pleasure to host Minister Breen alongside Enterprise Ireland to discuss the future of education and work, and outline how Irish companies are working together in London to spark future business innovation.”
