The Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton TD today (Monday) announced that Wrike, the work management platform for high-performance teams, is establishing its European Headquarters in Dublin creating 50 jobs over the next two years. The jobs are being created with the support of the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.
Headquartered in Mountain View, California, Wrike is a new class of business software built to power today's digital workplace, where workers and business deal with more data, more collaboration and move faster than ever before.
Wrike’s unique ability to manage complex digital work with ease is driving its expansive growth. The demand for new collaboration tools is skyrocketing as companies look for ways to maintain employee productivity in an atmosphere of fast-paced and often overwhelming digital work. Companies choose the Wrike platform because it is easy enough for individual workers to use, yet powerful and scalable enough to manage large, complex work and projects. Customers include Google, Hootsuite, AT&T, Adobe, and Hawaiian Airlines.
Making the announcement Minister Bruton said: “A key part of our Action Plan for Jobs is targeting fast-growing technology companies to invest in Ireland and make us a part of their growth from the earliest possible stage. Wrike is a hugely exciting software company, growing rapidly and selling cutting edge products and services around the world. Today’s announcement that it is establishing a European HQ in Dublin and creating 50 jobs here is a great boost for the city and for our plan. I wish Andrew and the team every success with this investment”.
Commenting on the announcement Andrew Filev, Founder and CEO said “We are impressed by the tech community in Ireland and aim to build a dynamic and ambitious team in Dublin that will directly contribute to Wrike’s high-growth and dedicated customer service. We have grown at a record speed over the past few years and our European HQ will market and support Wrike prospects and customers across Europe."
Welcoming the announcement Martin Shanahan CEO, IDA Ireland said “Wrike’s decision to establish its European HQ in Dublin is a very positive endorsement of Ireland’s reputation as a tech hub in Europe and the location of choice for innovative, high-growth companies.”
