The Irish Presidency welcomed the start of official negotiations on a new EU-Japan FTA today [Tuesday] , according to the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation and current chair of the EU’s Council of Trade Ministers, Richard Bruton TD. The aim is to reach a comprehensive agreement covering goods, services and investment. The negotiations are aiming to further reduce tariffs and non-tariff barriers.

Yahoo! Announces Expansion Plans in Dublin

Later today [Thursday] Yahoo! will announce expansion plans for its Dublin Operations Centre, adding more than 200 new employees in the next 12 months.  The company has already started recruiting for customer support, technology, operations, HR and finance which will support Yahoo!’s business across the Europe, Middle Eastern and Africa (EMEA) region.

Zendesk Invests in Europe with Dedicated Data Centre
