At this online event, presentations will be provided by officials from the department and Enterprise Ireland, who will explore the key expectations set out in the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct, focusing on how businesses can align with these standards. The session will also highlight the EU Directive on Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition, with a focus on the action businesses need to take in this evolving space. Finally, the webinar will feature a presentation by Enterprise Ireland on their Sustainability Capability Development supports which are designed to help companies advance their sustainability journey by enhancing their workforce's skills in sustainability.
Information will be provided on Enterprise Ireland’s Sustainability Kickstarter online workshops which introduces SME business leaders to the importance of sustainability and ESG and equips them with the practical skills and tangible actions required to incorporate these principles into their business plan. Information will also be provided on the Enterprise Ireland and Skillnet Sustainability Leaders Programme and the Sustainable Enterprise Webinar series.
