Regulatory Impact Analysis Safety Health and Welfare at Work (Quarries) Regulations 2008

The Health and Safety Authority prepared this Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA). The proposed new Regulations take account of engineering and other developments relevant to the quarrying industry that have taken place over the last 4 decades. They also take into account developments in other EU Member States, and are in line, particularly, with corresponding legislation in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
