Dangerous Substances (Amendment) Act, 1979 (No 21 of 1979)

The Dangerous Substances (Amendment) Act, 1979 amends the Dangerous Substances Act, 1972, which deals with the licensing of Petroleum activities including petroleum bulk stores and petrol stations.

Regulations have been made under the Dangerous Substances Acts, 1972 and 1979.  Separate Regulations apply to: retail and private petroleum stores (RPPSs), petroleum bulk stores, oil jetties and liquefied petroleum gasoline (LPG) activities.
