Electrical equipment

Legislation: Low Voltage Directives, 73/23/EEC, 93/68/EEC and 2014/35/EU, as transposed by SI No 428 of 1992, SI No 307 of 1994 and SI No 345 of 2016, provide for safety standards for electrical equipment of a voltage between 50 and 1000 volts for alternating current and between 75 and 1500 volts for direct current

MSA responsible: The CCPC is responsible for sample checking for conformity, notification of contravention and recovery from the market
