Working to Progress Ireland’s Trade and Investment Objectives

This report highlights the importance of international trade to Ireland, and the role of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and its enterprise agencies (EI and IDA) in growing exports, supporting trade and attracting inward investment.

It also highlights the efforts of the Department in securing the best deal for Ireland as it shapes and influences the EU Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and the promotion of these agreements to Irish business so that they can take advantage of them, and break into new markets outside the European Union.
