Reports, Research and Analysis
The Irish Government Economic and Evaluation Service (IGEES) has published An Evaluation of the Impacts of Remote Working.
The paper examines the impact of remote working on several important policy areas, finding positive effects on productivity, the environment, regional development, private finances, and labour market participation.
The research was conducted in line with the goals set out in Making Remote Work, Ireland’s National Remote Work Strategy, published in January 2021. The aim of the research was to assess the impacts to the Irish economy and society of remote working in order to inform future policy development in the field of remote working.
