What We Do

InterTradeIreland

InterTradeIreland (ITI) is one of six North-South Implementation Bodies established under the 1998 Belfast Agreement. It operates a wide range of enterprise support programmes to develop cross border business and assist SMEs with growth, capacity building, and research and innovation.

ITI is based in Newry, Co. Down and is jointly funded, on a 2:1 basis, by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and the Department for the Economy in Northern Ireland.

ITI’s value proposition for the business community is to deliver benefits in the key areas of competitive advantage – sales and marketing, science, technology and innovation, enterprise capability development and business networks. All of its initiatives are informed by targeted business and economic policy research.
