EU Commission CSR Strategy

The EU Commission published their CSR Strategy in April 2011.

The internationally recognised CSR guidelines and principles are:

• OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises

• The UN Sustainable Development Goals

• The 10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact

• ISO 26000 Guidance Standard on Social Responsibility  

• United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights 

• International Labour Organisation Tripartite Declaration of Principles concerning Multinational Enterprises on Social Policy 

• Global Reporting Initiative and to the International Integrated Reporting Council.
