The Pilot Online Retail Scheme has now concluded and is under review.
The pilot Online Retail Scheme administered by Enterprise Ireland, was launched by Minister Humphreys in September 2018. The €1.25m competitive Scheme was targeted at online retailers to encourage acceleration of their online offering through matched funding for areas including; research, strategy development, implementation and training.
The Scheme’s purpose was to strategically enhance online sales capabilities of the retailers to increase competitiveness and subsequently scale their businesses in international markets.
11 successful applicants were awarded funding under Call 1 of the Scheme in March 2019, and 29 successful applicants were awarded funding under Call 2 in September 2019.
