Advice for Businesses in the aftermath of Storm Ophelia

Many public and private sector employers closed their places of work yesterday given the serious risks associated with Storm Ophelia, and are today assessing the damage and related costs.

General Information 

  • Office of Emergency Planning
    Provides updates from the Government’s National Emergency Co-ordination Group. The Office of Emergency Planning has an oversight function on emergency planning.   • Irish Water 
    Irish Water has incident plans in place and crews on standby to deal with the effects of Storm Ophelia. If you have issues with your water supply, please view their service & supply map at: water.ie/water-supply/supply-and-service-update or visit their Twitter customer care @IWCare. In an emergency, please call them on 1850 278 278.
